Grand Seiko's Elegance Collection Mizu-Hanada Blue Linen 28mm watch for women takes its name from the traditional Japanese linen, derived from hemp plants grown in the region for centuries. Hemp was used in a variety of ways in Japan: as ropes for shrines, belts for sumo wrestlers, and fibres for clothing.

This timepiece is powered by an in-house 9S27 mechanical calibre. It has been crafted to meet Grand Seiko's standards of precision in a slimmer profile. This calibre achieves an impressive balance of performance and slimness, with a precision rate of 8 to -3 seconds per day and a 50 hour power reserve. It is an 8 beat movement measuring 19.4mm in diameter and 4.49mm in height, allowing for a slim profile.

The Grand Seiko Style features beautifully polished surfaces with curved lines, Zaratsu polished to perfection after multiple years of practice--a skill esteemed among the Japanese. Furthermore, light and shadow's nuances are embraced with a 27.8mm diameter case and 11 diamonds on the dial. The Classic Grand Seiko design reflects the unity of mirrored surfaces and hairline finishes, which easily co-exist.
